Is it possible to change the shape of the tooltips display? Can we make it appear as a balloon, for instance?

We've made the tooltip control flexible enough to allow for this sort of thing, but there's nothing built-in that would do it for you.
What I'd suggest, is to make an image of the shape you want with a transparent background (along the edges only). Then fill in your content in the middle with your content.
We thought about this scenario when developing the product, and there didn't seem to be a way to automate this process for our users...we're open to suggestions!
